Turina, Joaquin

Joaquin Turina(1882-1949), Spanish composer, studied at the Madrid Conservatory, then he went to Paris to study at the Schola cantorum. Returning to Madrid he taught at the Madrid Conservatory and later named head of the Minister of Education's general music commission. He composed stage works, orchestral and chamber music, piano pieces and snogs.
